Monthly Lunch Club Launch

It gives me immense pleasure to announce that Jain Samaj Europe is launching a Monthly Lunch Club for our senior members aged 65 years and above.

We deeply appreciate and honour the sacrifices, dedication, and tireless efforts of our respected senior members during the Pratishtha Mahotsav in 1988 and ever since.

The idea of starting a lunch club was recently suggested by Dr. Shashiben Rameshbhai Mehta, and I was delighted to see how beautifully it aligns with the vision of member wellbeing I shared with you following my election in July. Some committee members had also spoken to me about this initiative, and I am pleased to say that our Executive Committee fully supports it.

We are delighted to inform you that the first session of the Monthly Lunch Club will be held on:

Friday, 17th October 2025
Jain Centre, Leicester
In celebration of the auspicious festival of Diwali

This inaugural session is kindly sponsored by Dr. Shashiben Mehta.

11.00 am – Arrival

11.00 – 11.30 am – Aarti and Mangal Divo in the Jinalay

11.30 am – 12.00 pm – Settle in the Auditorium

12.00 – 1.00 pm – Gentle Exercises & Chitchat

1.00 – 2.00 pm – Lunch

2.00 – 3.30 pm – Games, Activities, Craft, Painting, Singing, etc.

3.45 pm – Departure
